Jason Hodges is in The Building

February 23, 2026 – We are thrilled to welcome Jason Hodges to the studio as a Construction Management Associate.

Jason brings a rare blend of digital precision and tactile craftsmanship to our team. With a foundation in software engineering and a deep passion for metal fabrication, he is a true systems-thinker who is as comfortable at a computer as he is on a job site.

This ‘full-stack’ perspective allows Jason to bridge the gap between complex design and physical execution, collaborating fluently with craftspeople to ensure every detail is both technically sound and beautifully realized.

We’re happy to have you on the team, Jason!

HAUS Named to FORBES “America’s Best-In-State Residential Architects”

August 27, 2025 – HAUS has been named to the FORBES “America’s Best-In-State Residential Architects” list, 1 of 2 in Indiana.

From the Editor (Richard Olsen): “Architecture, while historically nearly always regional in character, today carries the burden of a device and web-dependent culture drowning in indiscriminate images … and their frequently unfortunate influence on home design trends.”

Per Forbes, the architects who have been selected after painstaking research and rigorous journalistic fact-finding and assessment, highlight designers of single-family houses whose work stands apart for it’s excellence in the combined context of high design and distinctly place-based principles and practices of design and construction.

Thanks Forbes, and of-course  thanks to our clients and collaborators who make these projects possible!

Pool House Pavilion Nearing Completion

May 10, 2025 (Traders Point) – Pool House Pavilion is rounding-the-corner and nearing completion!

Located on a large secluded plot in the Traders Point area of Indianapolis, this structure replaces a portion of an original 1940s compound. Instead of building a new freestanding structure closer to the pre-existing pool, Owner and team preferred to utilize and update portions of an existing guest house.

The design solution continues rooflines and characteristics of the remaining guest house, while extending in the direction of the pool.

We’ll be sharing more detail about the project design + construction processes in the near future, so please check-back at HAUS + WERK for project updates!
