The Studio: Our Philosophy & Process
HAUS is an established, integrated design studio of Indianapolis architects, interior designers, and construction managers driven by a visionary, conceptual approach to architecture. We believe that creating the ‘wow’ factor requires looking past the surface to explore the hidden, creative potential of every site—challenging the cookie-cutter status quo with inspiring, original concepts. We deliberately reject the fragmented nature of the traditional residential market, selectively partnering with discerning clients who value the finer things in life and appreciate a structured, uncompromised approach to high-performance, tailored environments.
What is a “Work of Architecture”?
We believe a true work of architecture is born when an exceptional design concept is protected by absolute operational discipline. It describes a complete, unified environment—where the site design, structural architecture, and interior architecture are thoughtfully programmed around a single, unyielding vision.

Construction Management (CM) Associate
(2–8 Years Experience)
We are looking for a Project Manager / Site Supervisor to join our integrated team of Architects, Interior Designers, and Construction Managers. This role is designed for someone who bridges the gap between sophisticated design and physical reality—someone who ensures that our unique, design-focused projects are built to the standards of our studio’s vision.
The Role This is a high-impact position for a “systems-thinker” who thrives in the field. You will be responsible for the planning, management, and on-site coordination of modern residential builds where achieving the design-intent is non-negotiable. We value proactive problem-solvers who can navigate the complexities of a job site while maintaining the “clean geometry” and “material honesty” that define our work.
Core Responsibilities

Project Stewardship: Manage the lifecycle of the build, ensuring design intent is protected from groundbreaking to project close-out.

Team Orchestration: Solicit and assemble high-caliber teams of trades and specialist craftspeople.

Strategic Oversight: Lead project budgeting and scheduling with a focus on efficiency and technical rigor.

Site Supervision: Provide expert on-site coordination, acting as the primary liaison between the design team and the field.

Continuous Refinement: Identify and troubleshoot site-specific challenges in real-time, delivering solutions that uphold our aesthetic and functional standards.
Base Experience & Mindset

Field-Tested: 2–8 years of experience in construction management or site supervision (modern, custom residential experience is a plus).

Communication-Driven: Exceptional collaboration skills with an energetic, positive attitude.

Technical Proficiency: Fluent in Microsoft Office and modern project management software; a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is preferred but not required.

Interior Designer
(2-6 years post graduation experience preferred) We may be considering inquiries by energetic and talented Interior Designers to contribute their creativity and communication skills on our modern single-family projects. We ‘d love to find a great fit as we grow our studio into the future. Are you looking for unlimited professional opportunities to create visionary architecture and interiors? Architectural Student Intern
(no prior professional experience is required) We are not actively seeking Architectural Student Interns. HAUS Benefits Package:
For salaried team members, HAUS offers a competitive base salary commensurate with experience along with health/vision/dental plan, simple-IRA plan, paid holidays, and paid personal time. Last but not least, the HAUS bonus plan ensures that high-performers are compensated to match their level of productivity and overall contributions to the firm. Hourly team members receive a competitive hourly rate + 1-1/2 time for weekly time in excess of 40 hours.
